I have a wonderful role as audit partner and head of charities at Beever and Struthers. I thoroughly enjoy working with our dedicated specialist team in the not-for-profit sector, as well as developing our practice and colleagues.

Our not-for-profit clients need technical specialists who bring the right level of challenge, balanced by support. That’s what is special about Beever and Struthers, we bring that personal touch to each relationship.

My story
I joined the team in 2014, becoming a partner in 2015. I work with over a hundred clients at local, regional and national levels, including housing associations, charities, colleges and social enterprises. I chose to specialise in the not-for-profit sector because I love the fact our clients are making such a valuable a difference in society, and I can help them do that.

I’m the firm’s Ethics and Compliance Partner making sure we do quality work and make the right decisions about what work we do – a tough gig sometimes!

A big passion I have is to support clients and share my experience and knowledge through Board and Committee meetings, seminars and training sessions. I’m currently embracing Social Value and Economic Social and Governance standards. For me financial reporting should embrace culture and performance, good and bad, in a meaningful way.

I do this too…
Keeping active is important to me for health and wellbeing. Running and weights at the gym are my go to activities. Travel is the favourite hobby – Malaysia, Italy and Egypt recently and I always like to fit an F1 race in too.
