Awards and Accreditations

In March 2017 Maria Hallows won the “Best Finance Leader Award” at the ICAEW Manchester Accountancy and Excellence Awards. Maria was recognised for her leadership skills to ensure clients were ahead of fundamental changes resulting from the FRS 102 implementation. Her achievements and work with the ICAEW Social Housing Committee and the National Housing Federation (NHF) SORP Working Party has helped establish Beever and Struthers as a market leader in the social housing sector.

Daniel Pope, one of our tax trainees, was named as Apprentice of the Year 2016 by The Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) for the best performance by a Tax Apprentice in the November 2016 examinations. Dan's achievement is testimony to the success of our long-held belief that our staff are our greatest asset and we have designed bespoke training programmes to ensure that trainees such as Dan are given every opportunity to realise their full potential to benefit themselves, the firm and our clients. We believe that building business skills at all levels is a major investment for our future.

In 2017 John Jones won a Finance Monthly "Game Changers Award" which celebrates the success, innovation and strategic vision of the worlds most recognised professionals. Over a period of several months Finance Monthly undertook extensive research to identify resourceful and forward-thinking leaders in business who dare to be bold and challenge convention. The 2017 Game Changers Awards Edition provides details of all the winners and can be viewed here.

In 2016 Beever and Struthers won “Best Accountancy Firm of the Year” at Downtown Lancashire in Business Awards, which is the firm’s fourth regional award since 2013.  In 2014 we won “Accountancy Firm of the Year” at the North West Finance Awards as well as “Best Accountancy Firm of the Year” (for the second consecutive year) at the City of Manchester Business Awards. These awards give us much satisfaction as a significant element of the judging process comes from client testimonials.
