I’m Anna and I’m a Manager in the Risk Assurance and Advisory Team (RAA). The RAA team covers a number of different areas including internal audit, governance reviews and special investigations, so there’s never really a quiet day in RAA, and it definitely keeps me on my toes.

I work with a range of clients including both public and private sector housing providers, as well as a range of charities. My clients range from large G15 housing providers, to small homelessness charities, as well as charities in the health and social welfare space.

My story
I joined the team a couple of years ago from a top 10 firm and have really enjoyed watching the firm go from strength to strength since then. It’s probably fair to say that there has been a lot of regulatory change in the housing and charity sectors, and it’s been brilliant working with a range of specialists to help my clients address any issues on the horizon.

I’m a proud member of the Beevers Fundraising Group (BFG), which helps raise funds for local charities, so if you see me Kayaking down the Thames on a Tuesday morning it’s probably something to do with BFG.

I do this too
I’ve always been a huge fan of the water, so you’ll probably catch me cold water swimming in London during the week, surfing on the South Coast of England at the weekend and diving in Bali during my time off. I’m a qualified Dive Master and after a busy time at work its nice being 10 metres under the water where you can’t look at emails.

I am also trying (and failing) to learn Korean, but I don’t think I’ll be winning any Duolingo awards anytime soon.

It’s always been important to make time for my friends and family, which normally involves vast quantities of food, so most Sundays are spent sat at a table in the local country pub.
