Organisations can be subject to inappropriate overspends and misappropriation of assets due to a variety of issues. Such matters can arise when the overall economic environment puts pressure on individuals together with the ability to exploit weak internal controls. We have worked with organisations in assessing areas which could be open to manipulation including when matters of concern have been identified, together with recommendations in the control environment to prevent such matters being identified in the future.
