I joined Beever and Struthers when I was just 17.  I hadn’t taken the usual academic route, and university was never something I’d planned for — but I was ready to work, learn, and start building something for myself.

Beever and Struthers gave me the chance to do just that.  They welcomed me into a professional environment where I could train, develop, and grow – not by ticking boxes on a CV, but by showing up, learning on the job, and being supported from day one.

Since joining, I’ve completed my AAT qualification – something I’m incredibly proud of – and I’m now working towards my ACA, with the support and encouragement of the people around me every step of the way.  From partners to managers, I’ve had backing, belief, and mentoring that’s made all the difference.

Without Beever and Struthers, I wouldn’t be where I am today. In many firms, not having a degree is a dealbreaker.  But here, it wasn’t a barrier – it was just the beginning.  I’ve had the chance to grow, to build confidence, and to develop professionally in a way that fits who I am.

That’s why social mobility matters – because when doors open for people from different paths, it strengthens teams, builds diversity of thought, and brings out the best in everyone.  And I’m proud to be a part of a firm that makes that happen.
