I’m Chris and I am a Senior Manager within the Risk, Assurance, and Advisory (RAA) team, where my role is to ensure that our clients receive excellent Risk Assurance and Advisory Services. I work exclusively with not-for-profit organisations which includes, charities, multi academy trusts and housing providers.

My story
I joined the internal audit team over 16 years ago and became a manager back in 2016. I now manage a portfolio of clients in education, social housing and charity sectors. I have always worked with not-for-profit organisations. In my role it’s important that I understand the challenges and issues our clients face, so I ensure that I remain up to date with ongoing issues within the sectors I work in.

I do this too…
I love to keep myself active, so I regularly take part in running events around the North West and occasionally more challenging obstacle races.

I also volunteer at a local swimming club as a coach, mainly as I find coaching much more rewarding than watching my son swim up and down!
