I’m Joe and I am the Audit Partner on a wide variety of clients across a number of different industries and pride myself on both the quality of our audits and the relationships I develop with our audit stakeholders.

I greatly enjoy the technical aspect of being an auditor and providing support to our clients in their day-to-day operations, whilst ensuring that they get the best service possible from our team(s).

My story
I joined Beever and Struthers in October of 2023, having spent 15 years working in the Big 4 audit environment, servicing private equity, financial services, and various other clients from a number of different industries across the UK, US, Europe and the Cayman Islands, residing in the latter for seven years whilst enjoying all the positive traits that come with living on a tropical island.

In addition to my role with Beever and Struthers, I am a Non-Executive Director for Wickersley Partnership Trust, utilising my financial experience to support the WPT management team in their operations of the 13 schools that comprise the Trust.

In 2025, I became the Global IFRS Leader for HLB International. In this position, my main goal is to help our member firms improve and standardise their international financial reporting practices. I collaborate with colleagues from different countries to put into place the best possible methods that suit our clients’ changing needs, especially those with business operations around the world. This role shows HLB’s dedication to always getting better and providing top-quality financial reporting across different countries.

I do this too…
Aside from enjoying most of my spare time in the company of my wife and three young children, I am an avid follower of Sheffield Wednesday FC (for my sins), having represented them until the age of 18, and “enjoy” watching them with my eldest son and father. Whilst my aging knees mean that my cricketing days are long gone, I also play golf as and when family time allows.

Away from the sporting field I love to travel, read, and socialize with friends and family.
