Awards and accreditations
It’s probably quite important that we mention a few of our accreditations to give you peace of mind. So (deep breath) here we go…
We’re accredited with Investors in People who recognise the industry leading training and support we provide to all our employees. We’re a member of the ICAEW Business Finance Advice Scheme which is a collaboration with the UK Government and other accountancy bodies (ACCA and ICAS) to encourage entrepreneurship across the UK and ensure businesses have access to qualified professional advisors.
We’re a member of the ICAEW Business Advice Service to help start-ups, entrepreneurs and SMEs access advice about their business needs. We’re a BACs approved bureau which means our payroll team can make simple and secure payments on behalf of our clients to their employees via electronic transfer. We’re members of the Association of Labour Providers (ALP), a specialist trade association that represents labour providers to ensure the provision, use and management of labour is recognised as a model of good practice; and, we’re Cyber Essentials accredited. Phew.
We’ve also won some awards, which we’re very proud of. Our Executive Partner, Maria Hallows is a winner of the “Best Finance Leader Award” at the ICAEW Manchester Accountancy and Excellence Awards. John Jones is a winner of Finance Monthly “Game Changers Award”, which celebrates the success, innovation, and strategic vision of the world’s most recognised professionals; and our firm has won Best Accountancy Firm of the Year at a number of awards ceremonies across Manchester. We were named finalists in the ‘Progressive Audit Firm of the Year’ category at the 2023 Accounting Excellence Awards. According to Insider, our Manchester office is the fourth most exciting workplace in the north west, and in 2024 we won Forever Manchester’s ‘Employee Engagement‘ award.
